“I would like to thank everyone who cared for Barbara during her recent stay at Parkmoor Village. This thank you is to all the nursing staff, dining staff, the PT and OT staff and Social Services. I am finding each day Barbara is able to become a little more independent. She is no longer using the wheel chair to get around the house and finding the walker to be more efficient and occasionally striking out on her own, in tight spots such as the bathroom. And I’m constantly telling her use the techniques she learned during her PT and OT sessions. Please always remember how you can and do make a difference in someone’s life and in their family’s life. You are very important to someone who feels control and independence has been taken away from them.”

For the pass 18+ years her home at been at Parkmoor Village Healthcare Center, where she made so many friends and received care from so many of your staff. She enjoyed the activities and the trips she was able to participate in made possible by the activities staff. Trips to Wal-Mart, out to lunch, going to Cripple Creek, and don’t forget Bingo.
