Chestnut Hill Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center's experienced and professional staff is committed to providing a variety of activities with the goal of enhancing our patients’ quality of life during their recovery. We develop activities calendars based on individual assessments of a patient's past and current activity interests. Our activities include external outings such as shopping, dining out and sporting events. In addition we invite entertainers to visit our facility to provide services such as line dancing (including those in wheelchairs) and holiday/theme party performances.

Our Activities Department is lead on a daily basis by a Director and their assistants. Our other Department Managers also support the Activities Department by volunteering to lead one activity per month based on their areas of interest and patient feedback. This not only enhances our patients’ experiences, but it also allows our staff to get to know our patients more closely. Our patients have experienced playing Poker, Wine and Cheese Socials and children's Karate School demonstrations thanks to the involvement of our facility leadership team members. Compassionate volunteers who can assist our staff in delivering a truly memorable leisure activity experience to our patients are always welcome to join our team.
